Carefully prepare activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day

(LĐ online) - That is the direction of comrade Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee at the meeting with departments, branches, districts and cities to urgently implement the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong - Da Lat Liberation Day April 3 (1975 - 2025) towards the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day April 30 (1975 - 2025).

The activities are truly a great festival of the ethnic people of Lam Dong province.

According to the plan, there will be 8 major activities taking place from now until the end of April 2025. Specifically: Visiting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families, and revolutionary veterans; meeting with provincial leaders of all periods; visiting the Da Lat City Martyrs' Cemetery; the 50th Anniversary of Lam Dong - Da Lat Liberation Day and the welcoming art program; the provincial scientific conference "50 years of a journey - Lam Dong from a poor province to a fairly developed province" associated with the display and exhibition of OCOP products; exhibition of images of Lam Dong province's socio-economic achievements; the art program "Unified Mountains and Rivers".

In addition, depending on local conditions, districts and cities proactively organize appropriate programs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification, creating an exciting atmosphere among all classes of people.

The activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Lam Dong - Da Lat, towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country aim to review the heroic fighting tradition of the Vietnamese people in general, the army and people of Lam Dong in particular, in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Thereby, demonstrating the traditional morality of "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source" to remember the great contributions of compatriots and soldiers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, for the happiness of the people.
