General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping highlighted the friendly neighborly relations and the persistent elements in the Vietnam-China relationship.
"This will be the third time I have set foot in the beautiful country of Vietnam since assuming the position of General Secretary and President of China. I feel extremely close to Vietnam, like visiting relatives and neighbors," General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping wrote in an article published in the People's Daily today, ahead of his state visit on December 12-13.
