Chinese experts affirmed the irreplaceable role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the new era, and said that the country's opportunities in the new era are greater than the challenges.

In an interview with the press in China, Professor, Dr. Cheng Hanping, Director of the Center for Vietnamese Studies, Zhejiang University of Industry, affirmed that in the current reform and construction of a "new era", the Communist Party of Vietnam plays an absolute and irreplaceable role.
Professor Thanh Han Binh said that first, the Communist Party of Vietnam has set two 100-year goals, which are by 2030, the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding: to be a developing country with modern industry and high average income; and by 2045, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to become a developed country with high income. These two goals aim to build a new socialist Vietnam, a prosperous country, rich people, safe and happy life.
This goal is based on the national foundation, conditions and characteristics of Vietnam and the current situation. Only the Communist Party of Vietnam can put the interests of the people first and only the Communist Party of Vietnam can propose such a grand strategy.
Second, this is not just a slogan for struggle, the Communist Party of Vietnam also carries out a series of strategies to realize two 100-year goals such as: preventing corruption, streamlining the apparatus, promoting national development with determination and a resolute attitude, thereby achieving the set goals.
According to Professor Thanh Han Binh, fighting corruption and streamlining the apparatus are related to the implementation of the two 100-year goals and are hot topics of public concern. Corruption is a global problem, but only honest and impartial communists can achieve the ultimate goal.
On the other hand, this policy will reduce the burden on Vietnamese government agencies, eliminating bloatedness and overlap. In addition, fighting corruption and waste can unite people and gain widespread support from the Vietnamese people.
Commenting on the opportunities and challenges that the Communist Party of Vietnam faces in the new era, Professor Thanh Han Binh said that Vietnam's opportunities in the new era are greater than the challenges.
Firstly , the solidarity of the Communist Party of Vietnam is increasingly strong, reflected in real efforts; secondly , the decisions of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam are increasingly wise, in line with the people's wishes and increasingly supported by the masses; thirdly , the focus of international strategy is shifting to the Asia-Pacific region, Vietnam has the advantage of population and the diligence and hard work of its people, this is a great opportunity for Vietnam.
