Ngoc Trinh's 'sister-in-law' earned 70 billion but still lost to Tran Thanh's younger sister's film

The box office last weekend had quite a few new movies released, most notably a Thai horror film. 404 Run away now with the participation of Uyen An - Tran Thanh's sister and the movie version of Kaleidoscope.

Although no longer in the top position at the box office, the revenue of Sister-in-law - The film starring Hong Dao, Viet Huong, and Ngoc Trinh still maintains good ticket sales in its second week in theaters. According to data from Box Office Vietnam, Sister in law grossed 16.7 billion VND last weekend, raising the film's revenue after 10 days of release to nearly 71 billion.

Meanwhile, 404 Run away now made a spectacular breakthrough and climbed straight to the top of the box office with over 19 billion VND in the last 3 days of the weekend. Including the revenue from early screenings, the Thai film starring Tran Thanh's younger sister reached 37.5 billion VND.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 holds the 3rd position at the box office with more than 5 billion VND in revenue. The next positions belong to The Magician's Flying Castle Howl with over 4.2 billion and Mufasa: The Lion King with 4.1 billion. Current revenue of Mufasa: The Lion King has exceeded 20 billion VND in the Vietnamese market.
