Chelsea in talks to sign Rayan Cherki

Chelsea have just decided to return to negotiations with their partner Lyon about the transfer plan for Rayan Cherki - the pearl of French football.

Last summer, Chelsea contacted Lyon and Cherki personally. However, during the discussion, the parties could not find a common voice.

In recent times, coach Mauricio Pochettino has used Enzo Fernandez many times in the role of attacking midfielder. Therefore, the Argentine coach needs a new face to build the playing style.

Lyon are currently in crisis in Ligue 1. Therefore, Cherki is thinking about moving to a bigger environment. This helps him find a chance to join the French team to participate in EURO 2024.

Cherki's contract with Lyon runs until 2025. Chelsea are "attacking" in the hope of taking the 20-year-old French player of Algerian origin for a fee of around 30 million Euros.
