The appearance of the name Marzuz in the music market attracted attention as she is the niece of singer Tran Thu Ha (Ha Tran).
"Good" is what the audience commented on Marzuz's music and voice. Inheriting a bit of personality from her aunt, Gen Z singer Marzuz (real name Tran My Anh, born in 2000) really stands out in the current Vietnamese music market.
She grew up in a family with an artistic tradition: her father is guitarist Tran Thanh Phuong, she is singer Ha Tran, and her cousin is a member of the band Ngu Cung.
Marzuz left a mark on music lovers when she released the song "And the world lost a lonely person". Most recently, she impressed with the song "Exit Sign" in collaboration with HIEUTHUHAI.
Marzuz's debut album "She" just released is proof of this singer's talent.
"When I finished the album, I sent it to her. She also gave me some suggestions to improve it. She and my family were very supportive of me when I was working on this project. My father also directly participated in this project with me. I was very happy to hear him share about believing in a different path from the previous generation. I am grateful for that," Marzuz said.
Notably, Marzuz's father (artist Tran Thanh Phuong) also shared with her, "I am very touched because you do not imitate me and her. I really like this. You choose to do things that are different from what the previous generation did. Today, if you are happy 1, the family is happy 10 times. You have given your parents the gift of trust. I have great confidence in you."
Noted after the success of the song "And the world lost a lonely person", Marzuz is not in a hurry on her musical path, she takes time to improve, continue making music and experience many things in life, especially love.
Two years ago, she fell into a crisis and confusion when her love affair ended. Everything was broken, she was lost and could not find herself. During this time, she "started over" with music, bringing her thoughts, struggles, contemplation and mending each broken piece of her soul. That is also what she brought to her debut album - "Her".
The album's music has many colors and emotional ranges anchored in each of the singer's contemplations in the process of redrawing herself.
She shared: "The biggest message I want to convey through this album is that every emotion is precious. At first, I was so afraid of pain, loneliness and loneliness that I just looked up at the ceiling and didn't know what to do next.
I struggled with my own mind, then I realized how much I loved music as a child, how happy, comfortable and immersed in music. I realized that things happen for a reason, pain helps me grow, love for music heals me.
Thanks to that, I got to know many friends who were willing to sit down and listen to me confide, make music with me and together create happy moments when doing what I want."
