Le Anh Tuan (10 years old) was excited to learn football with a foreign coach. “When studying with a German coach, the training methods are different, more modern, better, and easier to absorb. Their techniques are also very good. We always guide the children on how to apply the techniques and tactics they have learned in a team spirit. For more than 20 years, Mainz 05 has always built a playing style based on team spirit and currently, the club has many young talents”.

The former Mainz 05 centre-back also hopes that his home team and Ho Chi Minh City will continue to cooperate better in the future. “I would really like to coach young Vietnamese players, especially in Ho Chi Minh City. This event marks an important step forward in promoting the development of football for Vietnamese children, strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Germany in the field of football in general and is the first step for the Club to have development plans with Vietnamese football in the future, including discovering and training professionals according to German football standards.
