The hardships before surgery and the journey to overcome adversity
Son Anh is the hope and motivation for his single mother, Ms. Luu Phuong Anh (born in 1987, Son Anh's mother). However, fate did not smile on him when he was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure.
To save her child, the only solution is to perform a kidney transplant at a cost of up to 800 million VND, a huge amount for a single mother who works as a ward-level veterinary officer.

Faced with the difficult situation of Son Anh's family, Dan Tri newspaper called for help from readers and philanthropists through the article "Single mother stuck with 800 million VND for kidney transplant surgery to save her child" .
The outpouring of kindness has brought hope to Son Anh. In just a short time, the donations were enough to pay for the boy’s kidney transplant surgery.
With the dedication of the medical team at the National Children's Hospital, Son Anh's kidney transplant was successful. After the surgery, the boy received special care and close monitoring. Son Anh's health improved, his biological indicators were stable, and he gradually recovered.

"I would like to send my sincere thanks to the medical team, doctors, the Social Work Department of the National Children's Hospital, Dan Tri newspaper, teachers and school, and all the benefactors who have helped my family.
