On September 14, Duc Pho Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department of Quang Ngai Province opened a free food and beverage shop to welcome relief groups from the North passing through Quang Ngai.
Guide signs and support from traffic police will help drivers transporting goods to the North easily find free rice restaurants.
Specifically, at Duc Pho Traffic Police Station, the unit placed a signboard, and officers and soldiers on duty will guide individuals and organizations to move to Nam Truong restaurant, on the National Highway 1 bypass through Pho Vinh ward, Duc Pho town.
At the restaurant, relief teams and drivers will be given free meals and drinks.
Major Hoang Tien Vien, Deputy Head of Duc Pho Traffic Police Station, said that the free meal establishment is set up with the hope that drivers and members of the relief team will have delicious meals and ensure their health so that they can continue to transport relief goods as quickly and promptly as possible to people in the northern provinces who are facing great difficulties due to storms and floods.
Drivers and crew members are provided with free meals and water.
"Although the work is small, it is in the spirit of sharing the same heart towards our beloved Northern compatriots. Hopefully, the free food and water delivery point of Duc Pho Traffic Police Station will help and share with the "drivers" who are working hard to transport relief goods to the people of the Northern provinces," said Major Vien.
