On March 15, the contractor coordinated with the Long An Department of Construction to deploy the installation of Super T girder span T24 - T25 of Tan Buu overpass on the main route of Ring Road 3 through Long An.
According to the reporter's records, from early morning on March 15, at Tan Buu overpass under package XL2 of the Ring Road 3 project through Long An, the contractor has completed the installation of the crane system, and the Super T girder transport vehicle is also ready.

At more than 8:30 a.m., the authorities set up barriers to block vehicles at both ends of Tan Buu bridge on provincial road 830C. More than 10 minutes later, the first Super T girder was safely and smoothly placed on the T24 - T25 pier cap beam.
After 15 minutes, one girder was completed, so there was no traffic congestion, even though provincial road 830C was very busy with vehicles from the West to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa.
According to the representative of IDICO Petroleum Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, up to now, Tan Buu overpass only has two more spans to complete the installation of girders, then the construction of the bridge deck connecting the entire overpass. Thereby, marking an important milestone in the overall progress of the project.
This representative also said that the XL2 package, which builds the main expressway route, the left branch parallel route and the parallel route from provincial road 830C to My Yen intersection connecting the two expressways Ben Luc - Long An and Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong, has so far reached over 63% progress.
According to Mr. Dang Hoang Tuan, Director of Long An Department of Construction, the overall progress of the project has reached over 65% of the construction value. Of which, the XL1 package for highway construction has reached 58%. The contractor is implementing 9 construction projects: weak soil treatment, unloading, completing the roadbed sand, spreading crushed stone on the road surface, etc.
Package XL2 is the construction of river bridges, viaducts, and parallel roads, with a completion value of over 63%. In this package, there are currently 10 construction teams constructing the body, abutment, piers, girders, casting and installing girders, and pouring concrete for the bridge deck.
It is expected that today (March 15), the installation of 8 girder panels at the span of pier T24 - T25 of Tan Buu overpass will be completed.
Package XL3 constructs the final intersection connecting Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway, the implementation value reaches 79%.
The contractor is concentrating equipment and human resources at five construction sites. The overpass and the U-turn bridge have been completed, and the guardrails are being installed and the bridge deck is being prepared for asphalt concrete. This package has also completed the 250m section of the Ramp A branch connecting the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway and is open for trial traffic.
The Beltway 3 project through Long An started construction in June 2023, with a length of 6.8km. The starting point is at the border of Ho Chi Minh City - Long An, the end point is at My Yen intersection connecting Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway and Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway, passing through Ben Luc district, Long An.
Total investment: 4,208 billion VND. Of which, construction is 3,040 billion VND, site clearance, support and resettlement is 1,168 billion VND.
