Front officials listen to the introduction of the work of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

(HNMO) - On the morning of June 7, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a conference to inform about the current situation in the second quarter of 2023, listening to the introduction of the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Reporting at the conference, Ms. Pham Phuong Thao, former Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and former Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, said: The work includes articles, speeches and talks by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in recent years, in which the consistent and consistent ideology of the leader of our Party is the spirit of strong leadership with the determination to persevere and resolutely fight against corruption and negativity, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects.

The work consists of 600 pages with 111 photos, structured into 3 parts. Part one is “Some issues drawn from the practical struggle against corruption and negativity in Vietnam”; part two is “Consistent with the motto: Preventing corruption and negativity early, from afar, from both the top and the bottom”; part three is “Unanimity from top to bottom, throughout the whole country”.

The content of the work clearly states that the goal of the fight against corruption and negativity is to contribute to purifying the Party and the State apparatus, to develop the country. This is a fight against "internal invaders". Through studying and learning the content of the work, delegates will correctly understand the goal of the fight against corruption and negativity, thereby maintaining and strengthening their firm belief in the leadership of the Party and the management and administration of the State and local authorities.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Ngo Thanh Son said that the work of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a document of profound value in both theory and practice, a "handbook" for the fight against corruption and negativity.

The work helps Front officials at all levels better understand the Party and State's goals of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; fighting against self-evolution and self-transformation; thereby, actively joining the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city in contributing ideas to building the Party and building an increasingly clean and strong government.

“In the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will continue to introduce and discuss the content of the work in thematic meetings, and at the same time disseminate it to Front officials at all levels, union members, association members and people to strongly spread the value of the work…”, said Mr. Ngo Thanh Son.
