Among young artists, Cam Van commented that rapper Ha Le renews Trinh's music and brings Trinh's music to more young people.
Whether the new work is good or bad has not been discussed, but she sees an undeniable reality that young people are listening to Trinh's music more and more.
When asked if she had any advice for young people when singing Trinh's music, Cam Van smiled and said she wouldn't give advice, because she is very difficult, and each generation feels differently.
"Even my peers, I said no. That's mutual respect. Now people say you sing very well?" - she said.
The annual Trinh music nights that Cam Van participates in are gatherings of veteran singers who are very familiar with Trinh's music. When asked if the singers give each other feedback on how to sing, Cam Van replied:
"No, I can't give any advice. If you ask me to sing cutely now, it won't work. I'll just sing like that, if you don't like it, then don't invite me, okay?
"At this age, I still give advice" - she laughed.

Making a magnificent Trinh music video in Cao Bang
On March 31, Cam Van's MV Pilgrimage on the High Hill will be released to the audience.
"Right around the time of Trinh Cong Son's death anniversary, I will release a MV. Few people film Son's music in such a grand style, so I really hope the audience will accept it. And thirdly, the scenery in the MV is so beautiful" - Cam Van shared.

Singer Cam Van said that normally she only makes MVs and posts them on her own YouTube channel. But this MV is very special.
Pilgrimage on the high hill by musician Trinh Cong Son is a song that was successfully performed by singer Cam Van.
This time, on the occasion of the musician's death anniversary, she came up with the idea of visiting Cao Bang, her paternal hometown.
Inspired by her father's thoughts, Cam Van and director Tung Phan made a self-proclaimed "epic" MV, showing the majestic beauty of her homeland.
And unlike usual, this is almost the first time Cam Van proactively gave information to the press because she wanted the MV to reach many viewers.
The MV was filmed in November 2023, but was released on the musician's death anniversary to add more meaning.
"I don't do this to become more famous," Cam Van said. What she wants is to convey to everyone the beauty of Vietnam's nature, of the hills, mountains, Ban Gioc waterfall... of Cao Bang. This scene is very suitable for the song Pilgrimage on the high hills by Trinh Cong Son.
Cam Van admitted that the MV was filmed "in the wild", but in fact the crew invested heavily in machinery, equipment, settings, and costumes.
The "field" aspect lies in the makeup stage, daughter Cece Truong came along to do her mother's makeup, and Cam Van's husband - musician Khac Trieu - also accompanied his wife to create a memorable family memory.
For Cam Van, the lyrics and melody of the song Pilgrimage on the high hills blend wonderfully with the majestic image of Cao Bang.
