Scholars, intellectuals, scientists, artists have made many contributions to the development of the province.

Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Hang; representatives of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of departments, branches, units and 100 outstanding intellectuals, scientists and artists.

The meeting took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere with special performances.

In 2024, despite many common difficulties, Binh Phuoc achieved and exceeded 19/22 important targets. Notably, the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 9.32%, ranking first in the Southeast region and 11th in the country; GRDP per capita reached over 108.4 million VND/person/year, up 13.4% compared to 2023; attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the year reached 35 projects, with an amount of 639 million USD, accumulating to date there are 439 FDI projects with a total registered capital of 5,271 million USD... Binh Phuoc is an attractive destination for foreign investors.

Expressing their joy at the impressive results in all areas of the province in the past year, intellectuals, scientists, and artists hoped that the provincial leaders would continue to pay attention and encourage them; have mechanisms and policies to attract and create favorable conditions for the team of intellectuals, scientists, and artists to continuously grow; and at the same time, share some experiences related to tourism development, culture, science and technology, digital transformation, etc. to join hands to contribute to the overall development of the province in the coming time.

Reviewing some of the province's outstanding achievements in all fields of economy, culture, society, party building and political system, etc., Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Hang said that these achievements were from the solidarity, unity, joint efforts and hearts of the entire Party Committee, government, people of all ethnic groups, the support of the business community, as well as the valuable contributions of intellectuals, scientists, artists in the province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Hang emphasized: The team of intellectuals and scientists have actively researched, created innovative experiences, and technical solutions with high applicability in real life. The team of intellectuals in state agencies, the political system, in sectors and professions have advised and contributed to successfully completing the political tasks of each agency, unit, and enterprise. Literature and art have many innovations, creating conditions for artists to compose and perform, serving the spiritual needs of the people and contributing to enhancing the cultural beauty of Binh Phuoc people: harmony, affection, self-reliance, discipline, and creativity.

2025 is the year of many major political events of the province and the country. This is considered the time for Binh Phuoc to continue to affirm its aspirations to rise up, to join the whole country in entering the era of national development. Therefore, the team of intellectuals, scientists, artists and writers need to make efforts, promote creativity and make more contributions to the common development of the province; in the immediate future, actively participate in giving opinions on the draft documents of the Provincial Party Congress, documents of Party congresses at all levels, as well as the documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Hang also requested that the Party Committee, government, departments and branches pay more attention, create space and conditions to both attract talents and promote the potential, strengths, capacities and expertise of the province's intellectuals, scientists and artists.
