Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province (middle), directed to resolutely recover suspended projects.

At the meeting, delegates raised many questions on the above content. According to Huynh Quoc Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the slow progress of the projects is mainly due to problems with compensation, site clearance, and procedures for converting forest land use purposes. Some projects have had to adjust their investment scale accordingly.

According to Mr. Viet, after reviewing, the difficulties and obstacles that led to the slow progress of the above projects can be resolved to continue implementation. In which, most of the projects still have time to be implemented according to the investment decision approved by the competent authority, some projects have been directed by the Provincial People's Committee to be resolved and the investors are coordinating with relevant units to deploy the procedures according to regulations to continue implementation.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province, requested the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to urgently direct specialized agencies to support investors in completing land allocation procedures to implement on schedule. Regulate responsibilities in advising on procedures and recommendations of investors. Must implement the principle of "publicity, transparency, fairness".

For projects that are behind schedule but are eligible to continue implementation, review and classify them to take action. Require investors to commit to speeding up progress, following the planning, using land for the right purpose, and fully complying with legal regulations.

Mr. Hai emphasized the need to strengthen state management inspection in the field of land investment and construction; promptly detect and correct violations. Strictly handle cases of delay in putting land into use, resolutely reclaim suspended projects, abandoned for many years due to irresponsibility and incompetence of investors.
