In the new episode of the show You Want to Date , MC Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan continue their journey of love. The male lead is Luu Van Vien (35 years old, from Binh Thuan) who lives and sells women's clothing in Ho Chi Minh City.
He is a cheerful, sociable person, has a strong ideological stance, knows how to take responsibility for his actions and words, and does not smoke. Van Vien only drinks when interacting with partners and customers. At other times, he is always dedicated, listens and bows his head to learn.
Because of his work, Van Vien does not often go out to have fun. However, he wishes to have a girlfriend to socialize and date. He was married in 2013 and has a daughter. However, Van Vien's marriage officially ended two years ago.

In 2019, when the pandemic broke out, Van Vien opened a workshop but failed and had to close the premises. He went to sell outside to increase his income and maintain the premises but still failed. Along with that, many other problems arose, causing Van Vien's marriage to fall apart. Currently, his daughter is in 6th grade and lives with Van Vien.
Through the program, he had the opportunity to meet Doan Thi Kim Thanh (32 years old) - a pharmacist living alone in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides selling medicine, she also sells products on online live streams.
When asked about her strengths and weaknesses, Kim Thanh said she is loyal and sincere, but forgetful and a poor cook. The girl's family said she has dated everyone for a long time.
Kim Thanh had two relationships, one during college and one after graduation. She was also married and divorced two years ago, and had no children. The marriage ended after two years because Kim Thanh felt her husband was not right for her. He was childish and a playboy.

When the barrier was removed, Van Vien and Kim Thanh exchanged gifts. The groom shared that he wanted to gather all his courage and bravery to attend the program, to find the right person to spend the rest of his life with. Van Vien also expressed his desire to have the opportunity to get to know Kim Thanh.
"I really like you and your way of speaking is polite and suitable for me. You focus on business, not doing bad things, not going around doing negative things but aiming for a healthy lifestyle," the groom's family shared.
Kim Thanh said she needs someone who is loyal and sincere. If there is a problem, both parties should share it with each other and resolve it, not keeping it in their hearts. If they truly understand each other, the girl's family will agree to move forward without any time limit.
