Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary inspects progress of 300 billion VND hospital project
On the afternoon of October 18, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang inspected the progress of the Northern Quang Binh Regional General Hospital project (facility 2) in Ba Don town.
The Northern Quang Binh Regional General Hospital (branch 2) is built in Tho Don residential group, Quang Tho ward, Ba Don town. The project has a technical infrastructure scale of 1,000 beds and a modern 500-bed inpatient ward.
The project investment objective is to ensure facilities for medical examination, treatment and healthcare for people in the northern region of Quang Binh province and the southern region of Ha Tinh province, while reducing the load on end-line hospitals.
The project has a land use area of 6.5 hectares, a scale of 5 floors, with construction items such as general examination block, outpatient treatment and technical block, inpatient treatment block, administrative block, infectious disease department, mortuary, parking lot, auxiliary works and technical infrastructure works.

The project is invested by the Department of Health of Quang Binh province with a total investment capital of over 300 billion VND, from the medium-term public investment source for the period 2021 - 2025 managed by Quang Binh province. The project started in January 2024 and is expected to be completed in December 2025.
At the inspection, according to the project management board's report, the construction unit is currently focusing on completing the main building block, technical infrastructure items and is committed to exceeding the set schedule.
Also at the inspection, Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang visited and gave gifts to encourage workers working at the construction site.
The Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Ba Don town, the investor and the construction unit in implementing the project to ensure progress.
On that basis, Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang requested the construction unit to continue to make efforts and coordinate effectively with the locality to complete the project items to ensure quality and safety. At the same time, try to speed up the progress, put the project into use soon, and serve the health care of the people in the area well.
