The Provincial Party Secretary inspected the progress of the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen).

On the afternoon of May 30, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee inspected the progress of the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) in the districts of Vu Thu, Hung Ha, and Quynh Phu.

The Provincial Party Secretary and provincial leaders inspected the construction progress of the 500KV power line in Vu Thu district.

Accompanying him were comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches, localities and leaders of the National Power Transmission Corporation.

The 500kV 3-line transmission line project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) has a total length of about 519km, passing through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces from Quang Binh to Hung Yen. The total number of column foundations is 1,179, with a total investment of about 22,000 billion VND, invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation under the Vietnam Electricity Group. The section passing through Thai Binh province is nearly 39km long, passing through 22 communes in 4 districts: Vu Thu, Dong Hung, Hung Ha and Quynh Phu. Up to now, Thai Binh province has cleared and handed over the entire site of 107/107 column foundations and gaps to the construction unit to carry out the construction of foundations and installation of 500kV power poles.

Checking the progress and encouraging the construction units and workers at the 500kV power line construction site in the communes of Song Lang (Vu Thu), Hong Linh (Hung Ha) and Quynh Hoang (Quynh Phu), the provincial leaders acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination and participation of localities, project investors and construction units in implementing the project; especially the construction team at the construction site has seriously implemented the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, which is to promote the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", "only discussing work, not discussing retreat", focusing on construction in 3 shifts, working through holidays and Tet, contributing to ensuring the overall progress of the project.

The Provincial Party Secretary presented gifts to encourage workers at the 500KV power line construction site in Vu Thu district. Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented gifts to encourage the team of workers at the construction site of the 500KV power line in Hung Ha district.

Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, welcomed the localities in the propaganda and mobilization, receiving high consensus from the people in the project area. However, the implementation process in the field is forecasted to have many difficulties arising. The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province need to proactively grasp the policies and plans to focus on leading and directing the implementation effectively, ensuring the set progress as well as ensuring the assets and interests of the people in the project area; always accompany and remove all difficulties and obstacles, proactively support human resources and means when necessary, and ensure good security and order at the locations where the project is being implemented.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the construction unit to continue to widely launch the emulation movement, mobilize workers, machinery, and equipment to ensure the construction of the project is safe, of high quality, and on schedule. After the construction process, the contractor must restore the site, especially the traffic system, so as not to affect the travel of people in the project area.
