Quang Binh Provincial leaders inspect the progress of Quang Trach Medical Center project

On the afternoon of September 11, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Quang Binh Province, Tran Hai Chau, and Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee, Phan Phong Phu, inspected the construction project of the Quang Trach District Medical Center.

At the meeting, leaders of Quang Binh province heard a report on the construction of the Quang Trach District Medical Center.

The Quang Trach District Medical Center Project has a total investment of 52.85 billion VND, funded by the World Bank (WB), and the Quang Binh Department of Health is the investor. The project has a scale of 80-100 beds for inpatient treatment.

The project includes the following items: 2-storey outpatient examination and treatment building, 2-storey technical building, 2-storey bridge building No. 1, 1-storey kitchen - Nutrition department, internal road and some other auxiliary items...

Quang Binh provincial leaders listened to a progress report on the Quang Trach District Medical Center project.

The project started construction on February 18, 2022 and has now been basically completed with progress reaching 99% of all items. The project is currently installing machinery and equipment and is about to be handed over for operation.

According to the leader of Quang Trach District Medical Center, the project has been completed and is ready to be handed over to Quang Trach District Medical Center for use. However, the Center's equipment system has not been invested in a synchronous manner, so after being put into operation, it will face many difficulties in the process of medical examination and treatment for people due to the lack of necessary equipment.

On that basis, the leaders of Quang Trach District Medical Center proposed that the leaders of Quang Binh province consider investing in additional equipment (furniture, medical equipment...) for the medical center to ensure consistency with the invested scale and full necessary equipment to serve the medical examination and treatment of people after handover and put into use.

After listening to the report and recommendations from the leaders of Quang Trach District Medical Center, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Binh Province Tran Hai Chau highly appreciated the efforts of departments, branches and related units in the construction work, ensuring the progress and quality of the project.

Mr. Tran Hai Chau suggested that the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and agencies and the leaders of Quang Trach district continue to pay more attention when the project is put into operation. In particular, it is necessary to consider supplementing the payroll, increasing human resources, and having a policy to attract qualified doctors and staff to work well to perform the medical examination, treatment and inpatient treatment of Quang Trach District Medical Center; as well as supplementing funds to purchase some additional machinery, equipment, software... that are still lacking to ensure the operation of the medical examination, treatment and inpatient treatment functions of the Medical Center.
