A representative of Quang Trung Primary School (Hue City, Thua Thien - Hue Province) confirmed that the images of the lunch trays reported by parents on some social networking sites were not the meals the school prepared for students at noon on April 11.
Every day, the food, once prepared, is divided into trays in the kitchen and then transferred to the multi-purpose room and classrooms. When the students sit down to eat, the boarding teacher will pour soup for them. Then the students start eating lunch. The photo of the April 11 lunch was sent to the school-wide parent group as usual.
"The daily menu and meals of the students are always photographed and sent to two zalo groups for communication between the school and parents," the school added.
The school is continuing to verify and clarify the origin of the images of the poor quality rice trays, causing confusion among parents, students and public opinion.

Photos of the boarding meals were spread on social networks.
Previously, some parents of Quang Trung Primary School (Hue City) posted articles on social media reflecting that their children's boarding meals were far inferior to those sold on the sidewalk.
According to parents, they have to pay 27,000 VND/student per day, including a lunch and a box of yogurt in the early afternoon and gas. In addition, each student has to pay an additional 180,000 VND/18 meals (equivalent to 10,000 VND/meal) for the lunch service. Thus, the total amount of money parents have to pay for a day of lunch to Quang Trung Primary School is 37,000 VND/student.
According to these parents, this is not the first time they have complained about the school's poor quality meals.
