In Ho Chi Minh City, a district has deployed artificial intelligence applications to take care of student health in all schools from kindergarten to secondary school.
Leaders of the People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training of Phu Nhuan District pressed the button to deploy the application for student health care.
On January 22, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Nhuan District officially deployed the application of student health care in schools from kindergarten to secondary school.
The application is deployed through artificial intelligence with the goal of not only ensuring the physical and mental health of students but also promoting digital transformation in education, accompanying schools and parents in taking care of students' health.
This is also a creative competition project of the Education and Training Department of Phu Nhuan District to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification... Phu Nhuan is the first locality in Ho Chi Minh City to apply artificial intelligence in student health care.
Students of Phu Nhuan district will receive health care through artificial intelligence applications.
According to Ms. Le Thi Binh, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Nhuan District, in recent years, health care activities for children and students at schools in the district have been carried out seriously, regularly and brought positive results. However, in the context of strong technological development, school health care is facing new challenges. Statistics on current health status show that there are still students who are overweight, obese, malnourished, stunted, have school-related diseases, and psychological problems.
"The highlight of the system is the application of artificial intelligence in student health care, close coordination between schools, parents, and medical facilities. This brings about positive changes in school health care for the comprehensive physical and mental development of students," said Ms. Le Thi Binh.
Accordingly, in phase 1, the Department of Education and Training has built the foundation of the system with features for managing student health records, integrating health insurance, collecting statistics on student health status and using chat boxes to provide health advice with artificial intelligence based on the results of students' early-year health check-ups.
Student health care application version 1.1 of Phu Nhuan District Department of Education and Training includes web-based administrative accounts for 3 users:
- For managers of the Department of Education and Training: Will be able to view and collect health statistics for preschool, primary and secondary schools.
- For medical staff and school administrators: Will manage, synchronize data entry, analyze statistics of BMI indexes, children's diseases according to regulations of the Ministry of Health; conduct assessments and conclusions on students' health during the first health check-up of the year; Information on student health insurance; Conduct health consultation with artificial intelligence; Information on health consultation links with hospitals and medical centers in the district.
- For parents: The application helps to regularly monitor information and conclusions about students' health during the first health check-up of the year; Experience health consultation tools with artificial intelligence; Contact student health issues with hospitals and medical centers in the district.
In the next phase, the Department of Education and Training of this district will develop artificial intelligence applications in analyzing and forecasting students' health; Provide connections and consultations with medical specialists based on the health and mental status of students, thereby strengthening disease prevention, expanded vaccination, food hygiene, prevention of malnutrition, obesity, school psychology counseling, and physical exercise for school-age children.
