On August 22, information from the Investigation Police Agency of Yen My District Police (Hung Yen) said that the unit had issued an emergency arrest warrant for 5 suspects to investigate the act of robbery.
According to investigation documents, at 8:00 a.m. on August 19, Yen My District Police received a report from Mr. Nguyen Ba H. (38 years old, residing in Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh - currently residing in Binh Tan residential area, Ban Yen Nhan Ward, My Hao Town, Hung Yen), a worker at JC Company Limited in Pho Noi A Industrial Park, about being threatened and robbed by a group of young men.
5 suspects aged 16-18 who committed the robbery were taken to Yen My District Police Station for temporary detention.
Mr. Hoa said that at about 1:35 a.m. on August 19, he was driving his motorbike from Minh Chau fishing lake to a deserted road (in Thanh Xa village, Nghia Hiep commune, Yen My district) when a group of young men blocked his motorbike, threatened him with a knife, and then took his Honda Wave Alpha motorbike, license plate 17B6 - 572.21, VND 1,365,000, and a mobile phone.
During the investigation, prosecution, and use of professional measures, by 10:30 a.m. on August 20, the Yen My District Police Investigation Agency had identified the suspects as: D.HA (17 years old, residing in Dong Than Commune, Yen My District); HMT; D.VC (both 16 years old, residing in Giai Pham Commune, Yen My District); LTA (17 years old, residing in Vinh Khuc Commune, Van Giang District) and NVA (18 years old, residing in Lac Hong Commune, Van Lam District, both in Hung Yen Province).
Some evidence of the case was seized by the police.
In coordination with the Investigation Police Agency of My Hao Town Police to continue to investigate and expand the above case, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen My District Police determined that this group of young men were also the perpetrators of two robberies that occurred on August 14 in Yen Phu village, Giai Pham commune, Yen My district and on August 18 in Ban Yen Nhan ward, My Hao town.
At the same time, the police also seized 1 knife and 4 motorbikes, which were evidence of the robberies committed by 5 young men.
The Yen My District Police Department is continuing to consolidate files to handle suspects in the case of using knives to threaten people to rob property and motorbikes.
