According to Mr. Hoang Hai - Director of the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management (Ministry of Construction), 3 new laws, namely the Land Law, Housing Law, and Real Estate Business Law, have just been passed by the National Assembly and will take effect from August 1.
To take advantage of the opportunities from these new laws, especially to continue to remove difficulties and develop a safe, healthy and sustainable real estate market, in the coming time, the real estate brokerage community needs to proactively equip and regularly update new knowledge about the law. In particular, it is necessary to actively apply technology and online sales channels to resolve "bottlenecks" in reaching customers.
From an in-depth perspective on the real estate brokerage profession, Mr. Tran Minh Hoang - Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Real Estate Brokers (VARS) said that during the formation and development period, the real estate market has seen the emergence of many large-scale real estate brokerage businesses with hundreds and thousands of employees.
Real estate brokerage businesses are important drivers of the market, participating in building and consulting on product development. Creating markets and distributing to people with diverse needs.
However, the difficulties in the real estate market in 2023 have created unprecedented difficulties for the real estate brokerage profession.
Changing the product structure to balance existing products and future products will reduce speculative products and increase real housing products, creating competition that will reduce the number of large-scale real estate brokerage businesses. At the same time, increase the number of smaller-scale businesses with professional operations.
“The rapid changes in the field of technology and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) require equipping knowledge and skills to apply these technologies in the marketing and communication activities of real estate brokers. Therefore, a new adaptation is needed for professional real estate brokerage activities,” Mr. Hoang recommended.
