The Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong railway construction project through Cam Con commune has a land acquisition area of 117.5 hectares, with 213 households in 12 villages affected. The railway resettlement project has an acquisition area of 20.4 hectares in Cam 3 and Ly 1-2 villages, with a planned resettlement for 60 households. The Airport Project Phase 2 has an area of 75.8 hectares, with 107 households affected by land acquisition and 45 households expected to have residential land acquired and relocated; it is planned to resettle 95 households. The total cost of site clearance is estimated at VND 122 billion 865 million.

The opinions at the conference were thoroughly resolved by the leaders of Bao Yen district and specialized departments and offices (photo above). At the same time, it was affirmed that the investigation, survey, measurement, inventory, and the work of land recovery, compensation, support and resettlement will be carried out in accordance with the correct procedures, publicly and transparently according to the provisions of law. The district leaders also hope that the people in the affected areas will support and support the project so that the site clearance work can be completed soon, creating conditions for the implementation of the next steps.
