On the afternoon of October 22, in Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to launch the National Brand website at http://thuonghieuquocgia.nhandan.vn.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, said that Vietnam has many brands of world stature, such as Viettel ranked 234th in the "Top 500 most valuable brands in the world 2023", Vinamilk ranked 6th in the 10 most valuable milk brands globally.

In recent times, building, developing and protecting brands has remained a weakness for domestic enterprises. The Anholt-Ipsos National Brand Index in 2023 ranked Vietnam only 47th, although Vietnam has always been among the world's top agricultural exporters.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh said that building a National Brand website will contribute to building, protecting and developing national brands and trademarks with high international reputation.

“This will be the first time Vietnam has an online portal that provides a comprehensive, official data system, presented in a modern, intuitive way, about the country’s leading product brands and businesses. In addition, you can look up and learn about the details of product brands and businesses by industry and field,” said Mr. Minh.

The units also proposed a direction that, after launching the Vietnamese website, they will coordinate to build an English version, contributing to promoting and developing Vietnamese brands, attracting investment and national competitiveness.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Industry and Trade, Chairman of the Vietnam National Brand Council, said that in recent years, the Ministry has actively coordinated with ministries, branches, localities, and socio-political organizations to effectively implement key contents such as propaganda and promotion of products achieving the Vietnam National Brand.

“The launch of the National Brand website is an important event, marking the formation of an official information channel on the program's general activities. Thereby raising social awareness of the role, significance, importance and necessity of building, protecting and developing brands. At the same time, building and promoting the image of Vietnam as a country with a reputation for high-quality goods and services in the domestic and international markets, ” affirmed the Minister of Industry and Trade.

Readers can look up and learn in detail about business product brands by industry, field, year of achieving National Brand, special photo and video collections about the production process, building products achieving National Brand.
