On the morning of March 23, hundreds of members of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union were present at Hue Station to clean up and clear trash along the railway line leading to the station.
From early morning, the members of the Youth Union spread out along the railway to pick up trash and clear weeds growing along the tracks. The sections of the railway with flowers on both sides were carefully watered and cleaned up.
Mr. Nguyen Ton Hoai Nam (member of Duc ward, Hue city) said he was very happy that the Green Sunday movement to clean up waste on the railway tracks was responded to by many young people and residents.
"I hope that on March 26, when the tourist railway line passing through the heritage route connecting Hue - Da Nang is operational, the image of Hue station with its lush green patches will leave a deep impression on train travelers," said Mr. Nam.
Mr. Le Trong Tung, Deputy Director in charge of Thua Thien Hue Railway Exploitation Branch, said that today's launch is of great significance, contributing to environmental protection, creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape for the railway lines in Thua Thien Hue province.

"At this time, railway units in Hue and Da Nang are preparing to launch a tourist railway line called "Connecting Central Heritage", so this launch not only has the meaning of protecting the environment, but also contributes to the development of railway tourism activities in Thua Thien Hue province", said Mr. Tung.
The tourist train named "Connecting Central Heritage" rolled out on the morning of March 26 from Hue station to Da Nang station and vice versa.
In Hue, train HD1 departs from Hue station at 7:45 and arrives at Da Nang station at 10:35. Train HD3 departs from Hue station at 14:25 and arrives at Da Nang at 17:40.
In Da Nang, train HD2 departs from Da Nang station at 7:50 and arrives at Hue station at 11:05. Train HD4 departs from Da Nang station at 3:00 p.m. and arrives at Hue station at 5:45 p.m.

On the journey, the trains will stop at Lang Co station for 10 minutes for visitors to admire the beauty, check-in, and take photos of Lang Co Bay.
Initially, the train will have 5 soft-seat air-conditioned carriages and 1 community activity carriage serving local cultural and culinary programs...
During the opening month, Vietnam Railways Corporation applied a preferential ticket price of 150,000 VND/ticket; monthly ticket price of 900,000 VND/ticket (monthly tickets purchased at stations only) and a discount of 10% -50% for passengers who are policy beneficiaries.
The tourist train connecting Hue - Da Nang is expected to become a unique tourism product of the two localities, especially for Thua Thien Hue when this place is about to enter the peak tourist season with a series of programs during the Hue Festival which will open in June.
