During the term, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Military Exercises focused on leading and directing all levels and sectors to organize military exercises at the provincial and district levels and combat exercises in the commune-level military exercises to complete the set targets, achieve good results, and ensure absolute safety for people, weapons, equipment, vehicles, and documents. During the exercise, there were many new and complex contents, large-scale exercises with many components, forces, and vehicles participating; using many types of weapons, technical equipment, modern equipment, information, and online television. The exercises were operated synchronously, unifying the Party's leadership mechanism, the government's management, agencies, departments, branches, and organizations, with the core being the Military, Police, and Border Guard as consultants according to their functions and tasks. Through the exercise, important changes were created in the awareness and sense of responsibility of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations at all levels in performing national defense and security tasks; At the same time, the sectors promptly adjusted and supplemented the defense operational documents, plans to protect national security, protect the socialist regime and legal documents to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. This is the basis for the Party Committee, the People and the Provincial Armed Forces to continue to successfully carry out the tasks of national defense and security, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development.

At the conference, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Exercise, the Steering Committee for the Exercise of the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City KVPT, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Provincial Police, and the Provincial Border Guard Command discussed and clarified the achieved results; pointed out some limitations, causes, and lessons learned in the leadership and direction of the implementation of the exercise of the KVPT at all levels in the 2020-2025 term.
Concluding the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of all levels, sectors, localities, and military units in the province who have made efforts to complete the task of the KVPT exercise with good results and ensuring absolute safety. Through the exercise, it has created an important change in the awareness and sense of responsibility of the entire political system and people regarding the task of national defense and security in the new situation. In order to achieve better results in organizing the exercise in the following years, he requested the Party committees of agencies, units, and localities to continue to thoroughly grasp and implement the Conclusions and Resolutions of the Politburo on the strategy of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation and the Government's Decrees on building defense zones and civil defense. Focus on concretizing the Party's viewpoints and guidelines on national defense and security; Synchronously operate the leadership mechanism of the Party Committee, the management and operation of the government, promote the advisory role according to the functions of the Military, Police, Border Guard agencies and local departments, branches and organizations in building and operating in the KVPT, in national defense situations. Focus on investing in building the potentials in the KVPT of the province to be truly solid, meeting the requirements of national defense and security tasks. Continue to supplement and adjust the system of determination, combat readiness plans, the system of plan B, organize training and rehearsals of plans close to local conditions; gradually consolidate and build the potentials in the KVPT, political and spiritual human resources, build an increasingly solid "people's heart position", meeting the requirements of the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
