(HNMO) - On the evening of June 9, the Hanoi City Police Command Center informed about 3 accidents that killed 3 people, including: 1 collision between an electric bicycle and a pedestrian in Tan Hoi commune, Dan Phuong district, causing 1 death; 1 case with 1 death due to a collision between an unidentified vehicle (suspected to be a truck) and a cyclist in Tram Troi town, Hoai Duc district; 1 motorcyclist caused an accident and died in Dai Hung commune, My Duc district.
During the day, there was also 1 small fire (Cau Giay district); 5 fire incidents in the districts of Tay Ho, Cau Giay, Thanh Tri, Hoang Mai, Gia Lam; 3 rescue incidents in Ba Dinh, Dong Da, Long Bien districts.
Also on the same day, the Traffic Police patrolled, controlled, detected and handled 776 cases of violations of the Road Traffic Law; temporarily detained 126 vehicles, 238 sets of documents, revoked 81 driving licenses; and administratively sanctioned 19 cases of violations of the Waterway Traffic Law.
Fire safety inspection of 30 establishments, detected 3 violations, prepared records to advise competent authorities to issue decisions on administrative sanctions; guided 6 establishments to develop plans, 10 establishments to organize fire safety drills.
Force 141 detected and handled 41 cases of traffic order and safety violations, including 32 cases of alcohol concentration violations.
