This is the third time in the past three days that Beijing has increased tariffs on US goods.

The Chinese Ministry of Finance announced that tariffs on goods from the United States will increase from 84% to 125%. The new tariffs will take effect from April 12, the State Council Customs Tariff Commission said.
The move comes after the Trump administration confirmed a total tariff of 145% on Chinese goods, including an additional 125% tariff announced on April 9, plus a previously imposed 20% tariff. The tariff will take effect on April 9.
