Opening of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition Round 2

On the morning of April 4, in Vinh City (Nghe An), the 2025 Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition, Round 2 - Region III officially opened.

Attending the event were Major General Nguyen Dinh Hoan - Deputy Director of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Ministry of Public Security); representatives of the Public Security leaders of the provinces participating in the contest. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Public Security Department; Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An province attended the opening ceremony of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition in Region III.

In order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of fire prevention, fire fighting, search and rescue in the new situation, aiming to build a regular, elite and modern Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force, the Ministry of Public Security has decided to organize a sports competition on fire fighting and search and rescue in the entire People's Public Security force.

In particular, Nghe An Provincial Police was honored to be selected to host the second round, region III - gathering 13 teams from the Police of the following provinces and cities: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Da Nang City and Hue City.

Fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue police forces from provinces and cities marched solemnly in the opening ceremony.

The teams participating in the competition marched across the stage, demonstrating the bravery and spirit of the People's Public Security force.

The teams compete in 3 events: Firefighting and rescue command. 4x100m relay race to rescue people and put out fires. Swimming to rescue people and rescue.

13 teams representing the Public Security of provinces and cities in Region III participated in the opening ceremony of the 2025 competition in Nghe An.

The competition is not only an opportunity for the Fire Police force to practice skills, demonstrate their bravery, expertise and courage, but also contributes to spreading the spirit of emulation, learning and professional training among units and localities.

Fire trucks rolled out in unison during the parade, demonstrating the spirit of readiness to fight the "fire enemy".

The image of the fire fighting vehicle team at the opening ceremony made a strong impression with its professionalism, uniformity and spirit.

Through visual and vivid competitions, the contest is also an effective form of propaganda, raising people's awareness of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue; promoting the movement "Fire Prevention and Fighting for All" with the motto: Forces among the people - means among the people - logistics among the people - command among the people, contributing to ensuring security, order and social safety in the current period.
