ACB confirms the information is fabricated
Tonight, January 4, Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) issued a statement regarding information being spread on social media related to the bank's senior leaders.
Accordingly, ACB said it had received information about a number of individuals taking advantage of social networks to livestream and post fabricated and false information about ACB leaders gambling and transferring tens of millions of USD abroad...
According to ACB, this fabricated information has seriously violated the dignity, honor, rights and legitimate interests of the leaders and negatively affected the image and reputation of ACB.
In particular, this false information also risks causing confusion and panic among the public, negatively affecting the financial and monetary security of the finance and banking sector in Vietnam.

ACB has collected all posted and disseminated false information in accordance with legal procedures to report the incident to competent management agencies for handling in accordance with the law.
