The 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3 this year is the opening event of a series of important events for the country in 2025. This event marks a milestone in the arduous but also glorious revolutionary journey of the entire nation for nearly a century.
The Communist Party of Vietnam, founded by President Ho Chi Minh, has, over the past 95 years, successfully and almost completely fulfilled the tasks set by the nation's history: overthrowing imperialism and feudalism, gaining national independence, unifying the country and advancing to socialism.

Since its inception, the Party has been trusted and followed by the people. Therefore, just 15 years after its establishment, the Party seized the opportunity to successfully lead the August Revolution, breaking the chains of slavery, and bringing the people from a life of misery to become masters of the country's destiny.
After that, the Party successfully led two great resistance wars, marked by the globally shocking Dien Bien Phu battle and the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, completely liberating the South and reunifying the country.
In the new period, the innovation initiated and led by the Party has brought the country out of the socio-economic crisis, people's lives have been increasingly improved and constantly enhanced, all aspects of society have developed day by day, hour by hour.
It is these concrete achievements that have increasingly strengthened people's trust in the Party and in the goal of "A rich people, a strong country, a fair, democratic and civilized society".
"Up to now, after 95 years of construction and development, the Communist Party of Vietnam has always accompanied and led our nation to overcome countless difficulties and challenges, gain great victories, and affirm its pioneering role in the struggle for independence, freedom and happiness of the people.
The practical victories of the people in the process of revolutionary struggle, national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam over the past 95 years have affirmed that the Communist Party of Vietnam is the organizer and leader of all victories of the Vietnamese revolution," Associate Professor, Dr. Le Quoc Ly acknowledged.
A beacon of light for the nation in the new era
In an interview with Vietnam News Agency on the occasion of the New Year of At Ty 2025, General Secretary To Lam affirmed that after 95 years under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people have created historical miracles, going through the era of fighting for national independence and building socialism (1930-1975); the era of national reunification and innovation (1975-2025).
And now, we enter the era of national development, starting with the important event - the 14th National Party Congress. The previous era creates the premise for the next era, the next era inherits and develops the achievements of the previous era, making national independence and socialism increasingly blend and develop continuously. The Party's will blends with the people's hearts and aspirations to bring the country forward into the new era.
General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the era of national development is the era of breakthrough and accelerated development under the leadership of the Party, successfully building a socialist Vietnam that is rich, strong, democratic, equitable, civilized, prosperous, and happy; catching up with, advancing together, and standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.
The top priority in the new era is to successfully implement the strategic goals by 2030, Vietnam will become a developing country with modern industry and high average income; by 2045 it will become a developed socialist country with high income; all people will be comprehensively developed, have a prosperous, free, happy and civilized life.

Through that, we will better understand our responsibility in continuing the achievements, overcoming difficulties to together build a prosperous, independent, democratic and civilized Vietnam, creating new milestones for the future," said Associate Professor Dr. Bui Hoai Son.
Under the leadership of the Party, the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese people has achieved great victories of epochal significance, changing the lives of each citizen and the destiny of the nation.
