Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Le Hoang Tai - Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Department; Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; departments, branches, delegates of other provinces and many businesses inside and outside the province.
The North Central Region - Nghe An Industry and Trade Fair 2023 is organized to display and introduce products, goods and services; promote exchanges and cooperation in economic development, investment and trade between Nghe An and provinces and cities in the North Central region and the whole country. Thereby, creating conditions for businesses, production facilities, cooperatives and craft villages to promote Vietnamese brands; at the same time, sharing and exchanging experiences, participating in linkage chains, expanding the domestic market and aiming to develop exports.
The fair has a scale of over 250 booths of more than 120 businesses, taking place from December 5 to December 11, 2023 at Vinh City Central Park.
This fair has many OCOP products, specialties of the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Hanoi, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Dak Lak, Vinh Long, Ben Tre...
The displayed goods are very rich, diverse, and cover many industries and fields, such as: agricultural products, seafood, processed foods, beverages; handicrafts, interior and exterior wooden furniture, textiles, household appliances; craft village products, OCOP products, etc.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Le Hoang Tai - Deputy Director of the Department of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Trade congratulated Nghe An province on being selected by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize the North Central - Nghe An Industry and Trade Fair in 2023 under the national program on trade promotion, thereby, we can see the potential and advantages of Nghe An province, the diversity of typical products of Nghe An.
Comrade Le Hoang Tai hopes that enterprises in Nghe An province and other provinces and cities will continue to improve product quality, increase the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods in the trend of deep integration, proactively connect, seek markets, create links between provinces and cities at the fair to support each other, and ensure product output.
The organization of the "North Central - Nghe An 2023 Industry and Trade Fair" not only has the meaning of introducing prestigious, quality and safe products of enterprises to the people of Nghe An province but also to the people of the North Central region, building consumer confidence in Vietnamese goods. The fair also creates a place for entertainment, serving the entertainment and shopping needs of people in Nghe An province and the North Central region.
