According to the confirmation of the representative of the People's Committee of Quang Lang and Quang Vinh communes (An Thi), on the evening of June 13, in the area of ​​the 2 communes, 2 people died due to lightning strikes.

Specifically, a person was struck by lightning and died while riding a motorbike on the road connecting the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway and the Cau Gie – Ninh Binh Expressway in Binh Ho village, Quang Lang commune. According to the confirmation of the Quang Lang commune authorities, the person struck by lightning was not a local resident. The second case was a resident of Quang Vinh commune who was unfortunately struck by lightning right in the commune.

At that time, in An Thi district, there was a rainstorm with thunder and lightning. Experts warned that when there is a rainstorm with thunder and lightning, people should find a safe place to avoid tragic incidents.
