(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of April 4, Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc - Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee visited and congratulated the leaders, officers and soldiers of Dai Binh Prison Camp (under Department C10 of the Ministry of Public Security) located in Loc Thanh commune, Bao Lam district, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Camp's founding (April 10, 1975 - April 10, 2025).

During the visit, the representative of Dai Binh Prison's leadership reported to comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc - Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee on the situation of detention management, education and implementation of policies for prisoners in the past time.
Dai Binh Prison currently has 240 officers, soldiers, and workers responsible for managing, detaining, educating, and reforming more than 3,000 prisoners in 2 sub-camps.
In general, through management, education and rehabilitation, most prisoners comply well with the regulations of the detention facility; at the same time, they actively study and reform, strive to soon complete their prison terms, return to their families and become useful members of society.

Over the past time, the Prison has also fully implemented the regimes, policies and laws for prisoners such as food, accommodation, medical examination and treatment, organizing family visits, receiving gifts, considering sentence reduction, release from prison and amnesty.
In 2025, implementing the President's amnesty decision on April 30, Dai Binh Prison proposed amnesty for 101 prisoners.
During the past time, the collective of officers and soldiers of the Prison Camp have always strived, studied, trained, and cultivated revolutionary ethics to fulfill assigned tasks well.

On this occasion, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc met and had a friendly exchange, presented flowers and sent best wishes to the leaders, officers and soldiers of Dai Binh Prison. Thereby, he hoped that the officers and soldiers would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, maintain revolutionary ethics and excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People in managing, detaining, educating and reforming prisoners.
