On April 4, at the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel work. Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Also attending were comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Pham Van Khue, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nguyen Van Chien, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Quach Thi Huong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, etc.

At the conference, comrade Pham Van Khue, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, announced Decision No. 1507-QD/TU dated March 31 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on merging Hung Yen Radio and Television Station into Hung Yen Newspaper. The decision takes effect from April 1, 2025. After the merger, Hung Yen Newspaper (new) consists of 8 affiliated departments (5 departments less than the total number of departments of the 2 agencies before the merger) including: Organization - Administration Department; Finance - Advertising Department; Politics - Economy - Society Department; Secretary - Editorial Department; Electronic Newspaper Department; Special Topics - Arts Department; Technical - Technology Department and Radio Department.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented the decision on transfer and appointment to comrade Le Cong Tuan.

Next, comrade Pham Van Khue, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work. According to Decision No. 1509-QD/TU dated March 31, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to transfer and appoint comrade Le Cong Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Hung Yen Newspaper to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; term of office is 5 years, starting from April 1, 2025. In Decision No. 1508-QD/TU dated March 31, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to appoint comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai, Director of Hung Yen Radio and Television Station to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Hung Yen Newspaper; term of office is 5 years, starting from April 1, 2025.

Along with that, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee on the appointment of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hung Yen Newspaper for comrades: Nguyen Ngoc Luyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hung Yen Newspaper (before the merger); Pham Van Xuong, Deputy Director of Hung Yen Radio and Television Station; Dinh Duc Khoa, Deputy Director of Hung Yen Radio and Television Station; Bui Hai Dang, Deputy Director of Hung Yen Radio and Television Station. The term of office is 5 years, starting from April 1, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed: In the past time, implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient" and the directions of the Central Committee and the Politburo, the implementation of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus of the political system in the province has been seriously and drastically implemented and has brought about initial results and efficiency. Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested: In the coming time, the Editorial Board of Hung Yen Newspaper will focus on leading, directing, and performing well a number of tasks such as: Urgently perfecting the grassroots party organization and socio-political organizations according to regulations; focusing on building and promptly promulgating regulations on functions, tasks, and organizational structure of affiliated departments; arranging and assigning leaders of departments after the merger; assigning tasks to ensure the right people, the right jobs, and smooth operations without work congestion. At the same time, continue to review the programs and work plans for 2025 of the two agencies before the merger to ensure full integration and no tasks are left out. Hung Yen Newspaper will hand over records, documents, finances, assets, and related work contents according to regulations; Develop a plan to arrange and handle facilities and technical equipment to ensure effective exploitation and use, and absolutely prevent waste in the use of public assets.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia requested the Editorial Board and the entire Hung Yen Newspaper to build a relationship of solidarity and unity, improve the effectiveness of management and operation, continue to perform well the assigned tasks, and serve the political tasks of the province.
