According to data from the Provincial Statistics Office, in the first quarter of this year, the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 8.96% over the same period in 2024. Of which: Agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 2.06%; industry and construction increased by 9.57%; trade and services increased by 9.97%; product taxes minus product subsidies increased by 8.71%.
Compared to provinces and cities in the Red River Delta, the province's GRDP growth rate in the first quarter of 2025 ranked 9th out of 11 provinces and cities; compared to the whole country, it ranked 17th out of 63 provinces and cities.
