Complete measles vaccination by March 31 at the latest

On March 25, the Provincial Center for Disease Control held a conference to deploy a measles vaccination campaign at medical centers in districts, towns, cities, and commune-level health stations.

The measles vaccination campaign aims to have 95% of children who have not been vaccinated or have not received enough doses of measles-containing vaccine as prescribed receive one dose of measles-containing vaccine. Depending on the actual situation in the locality, the implementation time will be selected appropriately but must ensure that vaccination is completed no later than March 31.

Previously, in order to ensure the prevention and control of measles, the Department of Health proposed to the Ministry of Health to allocate 15,580 doses of measles vaccine for children from 6 months to 10 years old. This is the vaccine demand after reviewing the subjects in the whole province to organize a vaccination campaign to prevent and control measles for this group of children.
