On August 19, Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan Club - a rookie in the national first division - sent an official dispatch to VFF and VPF confirming its withdrawal from the Vietnamese professional league, specifically the first division and national cup 2024 - 2025.

According to the document: "Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan Club must switch to the model of a Football Joint Stock Company and the Club realizes that there are still some difficulties such as forming a football organization according to the Enterprise Law. Therefore, Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan Club realizes that it is not qualified to participate in professional tournaments organized by VPF".

Khanh Hoa football is at a crossroads between the first and third divisions.

Thus, Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan Club is the first team to officially send a confirmation letter to VFF and VPF that they will not participate in national professional tournaments in the 2024 - 2025 season. But it is likely that they will not be the last name.

It is known that VPF has sent an official dispatch requesting Khanh Hoa Club and Dong Nai Club to have a specific report on the transfer and legal changes that the Club is implementing, and at the same time reconfirm all registration information for the 2024-2025 national professional football season, with the deadline being before 5:00 p.m. today, August 19.

Dong Nai Club's future is also in question, with the possibility of withdrawing from the first division and the 2024-2025 National Cup.
