After a sprint and an attempt to pass the ball, he landed in the wrong position and had to leave the field in pain. Examination results determined that he had broken his fibula and tibia, requiring a complex surgery.

Sharing about Xuan Son's treatment, doctors at Vinmec Hospital said that he is currently recovering well and actively. Doctors will design a home training plan and closely monitor the recovery process to ensure the striker's ability to return to training and competition. Xuan Son will be discharged from the hospital and continue his recovery at home from tomorrow (January 24).
