Kinhtedothi - On the morning of January 20, Phu Xuyen District Party Committee held a Party badge awarding ceremony on February 3, 2025. Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha and representatives of the city's departments, branches and sectors attended.
Phu Xuyen District Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Thanh said that Phu Xuyen is a locality located in the South of the Capital, a homeland rich in revolutionary heroic traditions. On November 28, 1945, at the headquarters of the Viet Minh District Committee, the first Party cell of Phu Xuyen district was established with 3 party members, with comrade Nguyen Vinh as the cell secretary.
In March 1946, the Phu Xuyen District Party Committee was established. This event marked the maturity of the Phu Xuyen District revolution. Since then, the Phu Xuyen Party Committee has grown steadily. Through 25 congresses, each congress is an important historical milestone, marking the victories, achievements and valuable lessons of the District Party Committee in 80 years of construction and development.
Phu Xuyen District Party Committee held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Party Badge Awarding Ceremony for veteran Party members of Phu Xuyen District Party Committee for 199 Party members including: 1 comrade received the 70-year Party membership badge; 11 comrades received the 65-year Party membership badge.
Along with that, 15 comrades received the 60-year Party membership badge; 26 comrades received the 55-year Party membership badge; 16 comrades received the 50-year Party membership badge; 56 comrades received the 45-year Party membership badge; 36 comrades received the 40-year Party membership badge, 40 comrades received the 30-year Party membership badge and posthumously awarded the title to 2 comrades.
Awarding the Party Badge to veteran Party members is a great honor and pride not only for the comrades and their families, relatives but also for the Party Cell, the grassroots Party Committee and the Phu Xuyen District Party Committee. The Party Badge shows the recognition and respect of the Party, the State and the People for their contributions to the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the Fatherland.
At the Party Badge Awarding Ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha wished that the comrades would always maintain good health, continue to promote their revolutionary qualities and ethics, and continue to promote their extensive experience to actively participate in Party building and government building. At the same time, they would be a bridge between the glorious past and the increasingly innovative present; be a historical witness to educate the tradition for today's young generation and be a shining example for future generations to follow.
On this occasion, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha requested that leaders of Phu Xuyen district, communes and Party cells continue to pay attention to the material and spiritual life of party members, especially veteran party members. Listen to the opinions of comrades with the goal of building Phu Xuyen district to be increasingly rich, civilized and developed.
Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha also requested that in the coming time, comrades continue to promote the tradition and spirit of solidarity, higher determination, proactively grasp and make good use of opportunities and advantages, promptly overcome limitations and difficulties to focus on leadership, direction, and comprehensively complete the goals and targets for 2025 and the entire term. Arrange and organize a streamlined, effective and efficient apparatus in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Central Executive Committee, suitable for the new situation according to the policies and directions of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on bringing the country into the "New Era - The Era of the Vietnamese people's rise".
In particular, the direction and implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo, Plan No. 258-KH/TU dated July 15, 2024 of the City Party Committee on organizing Party congresses at all levels towards the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Focus on leadership and direction in drafting congress documents and preparing congress personnel to ensure substance, seriousness, objectivity and compliance with regulations.
