132 players participate in the 2025 Tra Vinh Provincial Billiards Championship

The tournament attracted 132 players from 10 units and localities in the province.

This is an annual tournament to promote mass sports and respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". Through the tournament, the professional sector selects forces to participate in regional and national competitions.

This tournament has 132 players from 10 units and localities in the province. The players compete in 02 categories: Carom 01 cushion and Carom 03 cushion. Of which, Carom 01 cushion has 42 players and Carom 03 cushion has 90 players registered to participate.

In each competition, the players draw lots in the form of individual knockout. In which, the Carom 01-cushion content competes in the qualifying round up to 70 points with 25 cues. From the quarter-finals to the final, the competition is 100 points with 30 cues. The Carom 03-cushion content, the qualifying round is up to 25 points in 35 cues and from the quarter-finals to the final, the competition is 30 points in 40 cues.

Comrade Trinh Thanh Dat, Director of Tra Vinh Sports Training and Competition Center, presented souvenir flags to the units participating in the Tournament.

After the opening ceremony, the tournament will proceed to the qualifying rounds of the 1-cushion Carom category. The tournament is expected to end on the afternoon of March 2, with the First, Second, and Third prizes for the best players in each category.
