Yen Phong organizes Quan Ho singing exchange

In order to preserve and promote the value of the intangible cultural heritage of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs, on the morning of March 20, the Center for Culture, Sports and Communications of Yen Phong district organized an exchange program of ancient Quan Ho singing in Dong Yen village, Dong Phong commune.

With the gathering of the Dong Yen Quan Ho Club, there were over 50 pairs of Lien Anh and Lien Chi from 10 original Quan Ho villages, typical Quan Ho practice clubs and pairs of Lien Anh and Lien Chi who achieved high results in the 50-verse and 150-verse singing contest at the Quan Ho singing contest in the early spring of At Ty 2025 participating in the program. The singing took place in a prescribed order and manner and was simplified to suit the spirit of exchange set forth by the Organizing Committee. Through the smooth and soulful Quan Ho melodies, it helped many people, especially the younger generation, to have a deeper understanding of the origin, cultural customs, manners and rules of a traditional Quan Ho singing session as well as the costumes and ways of playing Quan Ho of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac people. From there, contributing to nurturing love, preserving and passing on through generations the unique and distinctive cultural values ​​of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Heritage to forever exist and spread.
