I come from an extremely poor family but I always had my own ambitions.
I studied art history at university. As a student, like many of my peers, I took on a part-time job. I started as a waiter at a five-star French restaurant, Le Bec-Fin. Little did I know then how much that restaurant would impact my life.

The customers who come here are all rich. I see people spending $10,000 on a dinner. They dress up, wear jewelry, and drive Rolls-Royces to enjoy the best food and drink the best wine.
Incubate ideas
I became fascinated with “studying” ultra-high net worth individuals. I wanted to take the luxury, knowledge, and personal service I learned at that 5-star restaurant and take it with me everywhere.
16 years ago, I founded Sienna Charles Travel Services with only $99. My goal was to cater to the super-rich.
To get attention, I sent letters to Gotham Magazine and Manhattan Magazine, telling them that I was the most exclusive travel company in the world.
My husband thinks I'm the dumbest person in the world because we often get calls from people saying, "Oh, I saw your article. I really want to go to Disney" or "We want to go to New Jersey for a movie weekend." And I say, "I'm sorry, we're so busy, we're sold out to high-income earners this season."

But the reality was that I had no clients. My husband complained, "You're stupid. Go and get one." My answer was still, "No. Either you work for rich people or you don't."
It took me 3 years to get my first client. After booking my first billionaire client, I made a profit of 30,000 USD (739 million VND).
Most people at that time would have thought I was a fool because I had no money. My dream was to create a "one stop shop" because the industry was so fragmented.
If you want to go on an African safari, you call Abercrombie and Kent. If you want to go to Paris, you call one. If you want to go on a cruise, you call another. If you want to fly, you call another.
I want to be the go-to person for rich people who love to travel on exotic and luxurious trips.

Jacqueline Sienna specializes in providing "luxury and tranquility" travel services.
The "rich don't need to show off" guests
When it comes to trips, we do everything from simple to sophisticated.
For example, a client who lives in Los Angeles, doesn't have an apartment in New York City, and might want to go there for 3 nights and stay at a nice hotel - that trip might be worth $10,000 a night in a hotel.

So we take frequent trips and multi-million dollar trips, like to Africa by helicopter and private jet.
We always ensure luxurious and hospitable tours, especially quiet.
Almost all of our customers don’t want to be singled out for attention. They’ve reached a level of success where they don’t need to prove it to everyone by posting photos of their fancy pasta at Carbone on social media.
I rarely travel for pleasure, only for work. I usually have two places a week. I sit at my computer answering visitors day and night. I work 40 to 50 hours, sometimes 60 hours a week. When I am in Europe, my schedule is packed with site visits, meetings with clients, or meetings with new suppliers.
I find myself being picky, just focused on living and breathing my schedule and dedicating every minute to the growth of the company.
I have had offers to buy my company many times. But I don't want to sell my company. I am still learning. That's what drives me every day.
It's like polishing a diamond. Every day, I become a better entrepreneur and a better leader to handle the challenges of running a team of 20 people committed to providing exceptional customer service to the world's most discerning wealthy.
