The comeback victory over Tampines Rovers with a score of 3-2 in AFC Champions League 2 has helped Nam Dinh FC open the door to the next round. If they continue to defeat Lee Man in the match at 7pm today (November 27), coach Vu Hong Viet and his team will pass the group stage.
Nam Dinh FC is in good form with consecutive "destructive" performances in V-League against SLNA, TP.HCM and Binh Duong teams. Combined with the rising form of Nguyen Xuan Son, the Vietnamese representative is considered to be exceptionally strong.

With an attacking style of play, Nam Dinh Club quickly took control of the match. In the 12th minute, Mr. Vu Hong Viet's students found the opening goal thanks to a masterpiece by Lucas Silva.
Nam Dinh's foreign player took advantage of the pass between Van Toan and Van Vu from the right wing to unleash a beautiful shot outside the box, defeating goalkeeper Lee Man.

Defeating Lee Man, Nam Dinh FC has 11 points after 5 matches, thus passing the AFC Champions League 2 group stage 1 round early. Nguyen Xuan Son and his teammates even took the top spot thanks to Bangkok United's defeat at Tampines Rovers Stadium.
If they do not lose in the final round, Nam Dinh Club will enter the round of 16 as the top team.
