Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Department of Education and Training has directed the Department of Education and Training of Nha Be District to clarify information and images from a Facebook account named KH that were spread on student and teacher forums on June 9.
KH account posted content reflecting a math teacher at Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School, Nha Be District (HCMC) sexually harassing a female student during class.
"These are just a few pictures I received from my niece, taken by her friend after she and other female friends were harassed by the teacher many times. She called for help from her aunt in panic when this morning another female friend was harassed even more terribly than in the picture," shared account KH.

Also according to the post of the KH account, the family immediately went to meet the teacher and confronted the students, but the teacher denied that he only bent down to pick up something and accidentally touched the children's thighs. The previous times, the teacher also threatened the children not to go home and tell their parents, otherwise he would "bully" them in class. The teacher coaxed the children to buy whatever they wanted, if they liked underwear, he would buy it... And the children told many other things...

"You are just young children, if you listen to the teacher's seduction and don't think carefully, what will happen... How many years has the teacher's behavior towards students been going on, how many generations of students, or has it just happened to my class... With this molestation, the family has filed a petition to the principal, the Department of Education and Training of Nha Be District asking for intervention, handling and protection of the students," wrote account KH.
Responding to the press about the above reflection, Mr. Pham Tan Phuoc, Principal of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School (Nha Be District), said that the school has received the information and is asking the accused teacher to make a report as well as cross-examine with the parents. The school will make a report to the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Nha Be District. When the results are available, the school will inform the press specifically.
