"Book-filled" playground for students

According to Ms. Pham Ngoc Nhi, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 7, this "book-filled" playground aims to form a reading habit for students; contribute to building a reading culture in schools and communities. In addition, it helps students practice reading comprehension skills, summarize book content; develop presentation skills; enhance creativity, thereby improving the quality of learning in schools.

Students participate in the "Train of Knowledge" booth at the Reading Culture Festival organized by the Department of Education and Training of District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Before entering the contest, students listened to Dr. Tran Van Chung, lecturer at Saigon University, lecture on methods for choosing books and reading books effectively... After that, they will visit booths displaying images, documents, models, and books with the theme of commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Not only visiting, students must also interview, take notes, etc. to have materials for writing and presentations as required by the organizing committee when entering the official competition. In addition, students are also guided in book selection skills, such as having to be suitable for their age, cognitive level and psychology; bringing useful lessons, values ​​about ethics and humanity.
