The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have just adjusted the retail price of gasoline and oil in the adjustment period today (September 26). The application time is from 3:00 p.m. on September 26, 2024.

Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND679/liter to VND19,620/liter; RON 95 gasoline increased by VND756/liter to VND20,518/liter.
Diesel 0.05S price: Increased by 463 VND/liter, up to 17,506 VND/liter; Kerosene increased by 322 VND/liter, up to 17,873 VND/liter; Madut 180CST 3.5S increased by 531 VND/kg, up to 15,357 VND/kg.
In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on September 19, 2024 and the adjustment period on September 26, 2024 is: 80.942 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 3.924 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 5.09%); 85.586 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 4.082 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 5.01%); 84.872 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 1.884 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.27%); 84.446 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (up 2.712 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.32%); 446,294 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (up 19,406 USD/ton, equivalent to an increase of 4.55%).
According to data from Oilprice, at 8:02 a.m. on September 25 (Vietnam time), Brent oil was trading at $75.07 per barrel, down 0.13% from the previous session. WTI oil was at $71.46 per barrel, down 0.14% from the previous session.
In the Singapore market, imported gasoline prices increased slightly compared to the previous period.
Recorded at 9:00 a.m. on September 26, 2024, Vietnam time, the price of light sweet crude oil WTI was trading at 71.57 USD/barrel, up 0.14 USD (equivalent to 0.2%) during the session and down 1.74 USD/barrel compared to the same time on September 25.
Brent oil price traded at 75.19 USD/barrel, up 0.18 USD (equivalent to 0.25%) in the session and down 1.55 USD/barrel compared to the same time on September 25.
World oil prices today (September 26) increased during the session but decreased compared to the same time on September 25, when signs showed increased fuel demand and reduced reserves in the US. Supply disruptions in Libya have eased; along with that, investors are also worried about oil demand despite China's economic stimulus plan.
In the most recent gasoline price adjustment period (September 19), the prices of gasoline were adjusted up by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance while oil products (except mazut) turned down.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline was adjusted up by 50 VND/liter, selling price is 18,940 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 130 VND/liter, selling price is 19,760 VND/liter.
Meanwhile, diesel price was adjusted down by 120 VND/liter, selling price is 17,040 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 240 VND/liter, selling price is 17,790 VND/liter.
In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
