On February 1, a clip of a male car driver being threatened and assaulted by a group of people while sitting in his car went viral on social media. The incident is said to have occurred at Con Nhat ferry terminal, on the Nam Dinh side.

According to the clip, the group of men continuously cursed, banged on the door, and reached through the car door, beating the driver despite attempts to stop them. One of them even climbed up, jumped into the car, and kicked the driver.
When the driver opened the car door, this person continued to argue and then punched the driver repeatedly and struggled with the people in the car.
Speaking to reporters, Ms. D. - the person sitting in the above car said that at around 2:15 p.m. today, when vehicles were lining up to cross the Con Nhat ferry to Thai Binh, a black Camry suddenly cut in front.
Mr. V.D.T. (residing in Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh, the driver who was assaulted) moved his car to stop and reminded the Camry driver about the need to comply with the queue. However, this person immediately turned around and cursed loudly, then called 3 other people to attack Mr. T. One person even jumped into the car and kicked the driver T. so hard that he bled from the mouth.
According to Ms. D., at the time of the incident, in addition to Mr. T., there were 2 women and many children in the car. Mr. T. and the group of attackers had no previous conflicts.
Leaders of Giao Thuy Town People's Committee (Nam Dinh) confirmed that the above incident happened at Con Nhat ferry terminal this afternoon, while vehicles were waiting for the ferry.
Currently, the authorities have received the information and will investigate the incident.
