On April 3, Hoang Lien National Park announced that it had received two sun bears from Mr. Ly A Gio and handed them over to the Forest Protection Department of Muong Nhe District (Dien Bien).
After being received, these two individuals were given to the Hoang Lien Tourism and Wildlife Conservation Center of Hoang Lien National Park to care for and manage the above wild animals according to regulations.

The two moon bears weighed 2.5kg and 2.7kg respectively and were in good health. After being brought to Hoang Lien National Park, both of them ate normally and gradually got used to the weather.
It is known that the Asian black bear is a species listed in the Red Book, at risk of extinction. This species is also known by other names such as the Tibetan black bear, Himalayan black bear, etc. Asian black bears are medium in size and have characteristic white fur on their chests.
