From April 28 to 30, Ships 526 and 470, Squadron 512, Brigade 127, Naval Region 5 provided free fresh water to people on Hon Chuoi Island, Song Doc Town, Tran Van Thoi District, Ca Mau Province.

120m3 of fresh water to serve the daily needs of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 5 on Phu Quoc Island was transported by the unit's ships to Hon Chuoi Island to provide to the people.

Due to the complex terrain, Hon Chuoi Island does not have a large wharf, so officers and soldiers of the unit pumped water from Ship 526 to Ship 470 to transport into the island, bringing it to each household to provide for the people.

On this occasion, officers and soldiers of Naval Region 5 also provided free fresh water to dozens of fishing boats exploiting seafood in the southwestern sea of ​​the Fatherland.
